Sikh Democrats of New York
- Sikh Democrats of New York (SDNY) is a people’s movement for increasing political participation and civic engagement amongst Sikhs and other South Asian communities. SDNY works to elect political and judicial candidates for local, State and Federal offices and advocate for legislation benefitting our communities and neighborhoods.
- We educate our communities with the political process, increase electoral participation, identify and support candidates for offices, Influence policy and work with elected officials, community groups and other organizations to serve our communities.
- We hold meetings and invite elected officials, candidates for offices, noted citizens and organizations to discuss ideas and issues of concern. We also hold forums with other organizations on political issues and topics that concern us as a community. Our meetings are open to all.
